The Youth Auxiliary of the Ohio Baptist General Convention and Auxiliaries Incorporated exists to cultivate spiritually grounded, purpose-driven youth by providing opportunities for biblical learning, mentorship, worship, leadership training, and meaningful fellowship that encourages young people to become effective Christian leaders within the church, community, and world.
Min. Chris McClure
Min. Chris McClure is a passionate leader, mentor, and dedicated servant who currently serves as President of the Youth & Young Adult Auxiliary for the Ohio Baptist General Convention. In this role, he provides energetic and impactful leadership to young people across the Convention, fostering spiritual growth, discipleship, leadership development, and meaningful engagement among the next generation of believers. His commitment to ministry reflects a strong passion for empowering youth and young adults to boldly live out their faith and purpose in today’s world.

Through his leadership, Min. McClure works to create opportunities for worship, fellowship, education, and service that inspire young people to grow closer to God while strengthening their connection to the church and community. He is widely respected for his dedication to mentoring emerging leaders, his heart for young people, and his unwavering commitment to advancing the mission of the Youth & Young Adult Auxiliary through faith, service, and Kingdom leadership.

Sis. Kendra Shores
Sis. Kendra Shores is a dedicated leader, mentor, and servant of God who faithfully serves as Youth Director for the Ohio Baptist General Convention. In this role, she provides compassionate and impactful leadership to youth across the Convention, fostering spiritual growth, discipleship, fellowship, and personal development among young people. Her passion for ministry reflects a deep commitment to guiding the next generation toward a stronger relationship with God while encouraging them to grow in faith, purpose, and leadership.
