The Congress of Christian Education of the Ohio Baptist General Convention and Auxiliaries Incorporated exists to provide sound biblical instruction, cultivate spiritual growth, and develop Christian leaders of all ages through innovative teaching, fellowship, and training opportunities that strengthen churches, inspire discipleship, and advance the Kingdom of God throughout Ohio and beyond.
Dr. Howard T. Washington
Dr. Howard T. Washington is a respected pastor, educator, and visionary leader who currently serves as President of the Ohio Baptist General Convention Congress of Christian Education. In this role, he provides dynamic leadership in advancing biblical instruction, spiritual development, and Christian discipleship throughout the Convention. His passion for teaching and equipping believers reflects a deep commitment to strengthening the church through sound doctrine, leadership training, and transformative Christian education.

Our President
Dr. Xavier L. Johnson
Dr. Xavier L. Johnson is a dedicated educator, ministry leader, and servant of the Kingdom who faithfully serves as Dean of the Congress of Christian Education for the Ohio Baptist General Convention. In this role, he provides strategic oversight and leadership for educational programming designed to enrich spiritual growth, biblical understanding, and leadership development throughout the Convention. His commitment to Christian education reflects a passion for equipping believers with the knowledge, wisdom, and practical tools necessary for effective ministry and discipleship.

Through his leadership, Dr. Johnson works to cultivate an atmosphere of learning, empowerment, and spiritual transformation by supporting instructors, developing impactful curricula, and fostering meaningful engagement among participants of all ages.
